ลักษณะ :

ไม้เลื้อยมีเนื้อไม้ ใบเดี่ยว เรียงสลับ รูปไข่หรือกลม กว้าง 3-12 ซม. ยาว 3-15 ซม. ปลายเป็นแฉกลึก ประมาณ 1/3 ของความยาวใบ ช่อดอกแบบช่อแยกแขนงขนาดใหญ่ ออกตามซอกใบหรือปลายกิ่ง ดอกสีเขียวอ่อนอมเหลือง มีจานฐานดอกสีแดงสด ฝักแบน รูปขอบขนานแกมรูปใบหอก ออกดอกเดือน มิ.ย.-ส.ค.

Characteristics :

Woody climbers. Leaves simple, alternate, ovate or orbicular, 3-15 by 3-12 cm; apex deeply emaginate, ca. 1/3 of the leaf length. Inflorescences paniculate, axillary or terminal. Flowers yellowish green with bright red disc. Pods flattened, oblong-lanceolate. Flowering Jun.-Aug.
